Wasabi Wagyu Sandwich

After a long and tiring week, we need something to spoil ourselves but we don't want to spend too much time in a kitchen. We can't wait to chill out on a sofa and put Netflix on. Ingredients

Method

  • 120g Wagyu Steak

  • 4 Slices Bread

  • 10g Baby Leaves (washed)

  • 30g Onion (finely sliced)

  • 1 tbsp Butter (for toasts)

  • 1 tbsp Wasabi

  • 1 tsp Butter (for sauce)

  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce

  • 2 Pickled Cucumbers

  • 1 tsp Sea Salt

  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

  1. Season the steak all over with salt and black pepper.

  2. Place a large non-stick frying pan on high heat.

  3. Put the steak into the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or to your liking.

  4. Drizzle soy sauce over the steak.

  5. Cool the steak aside for 5 minutes and then cut it in half.

  6. Put the bread slices on a medium-hot grill and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted.

  7. Spread butter and wasabi on the toasts.

  8. Layer over the onion, steak, pickled cucumbers, and baby leaves.

  9. Press down lightly and cut the sandwich into two.

Serve with your favorite drink!
