Wasabi Wagyu Sandwich

After a long and tiring week, we need something to spoil ourselves but we don't want to spend too much time in a kitchen. We can't wait to chill out on a sofa and put Netflix on. Try our Wasabi Wagyu Sandwich. This is a quick and satisfying recipe for everybody. Wondering how wasabi taste like on a toast?   • 120g Wagyu Steak

  • 4 Slices Bread

  • 10g Baby Leaves (washed)

  • 30g Onion (finely sliced)

  • 1 tbsp Butter (for toasts)

  • 1 tbsp Wasabi

  • 1 tsp Butter (for sauce)

  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce

  • 2 Pickled Cucumbers

  • 1 tsp Sea Salt

  • 1 tsp Black Pepper


  1. Season the steak all over with salt and black pepper. Place a large non-stick frying pan on a high heat. Put it into the pan and cook for 2-3 mins on each side or to your liking. Drizzle the soy sauce over the steak.

  2. Cool the steak down aside for 5mins and cut it in half.

  3. Put the bread slices on a medium-hot grill and cook for 2-3mins until lightly toasted.

  4. Spread on the butter and wasabi on toasts, then layer over the onion, steak, pickled cucumbers and baby leaves.

  5. Press down lightly and cut into two sandwiches.
