Never use a microwave. The best and safest method to defrost meat is slowly in the fridge overnight. Submerge the unopened bag in cold tap water if you want to defrost quickly. You'll need to change the water every 30 minutes to ensure that it stays sufficiently cold.

Tajimaya UK Ltd. have been following government advice to put measures in place to deal with Coronavirus (COVID-19). While we run business as usual at the moment with the current risk to public remaining moderate, the government has launched an action plan to manage an evolving situation.
Some of our efforts include ramping up good hygiene and have introduced additional cleaning measures including hand washing stations, conducting random and regular hand washing breaks within the distribution team throughout the day.
In addition, we are working closely with suppliers and customers to monitor all the latest updates and gain insight from retail and restaurants on supply & demand and how we can manage through this uncertain period.
We have cancelled all internal and client meetings both on site and that any of the team were due to attend. We will continue to keep you updated as the situation evolves. The safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers remains a top priority. Thank you for your understanding, patience and continuing support.
