Wagyu Surprise Ice-Cream

a little trick

As the flowers start to bloom and the weather warms up, we can't help but eagerly await the sound of the ice-cream van. Everyone loves ice-cream, and believe it or not, Wagyu beef can be used to create delicious desserts too! In fact, lard or fat is a common ingredient in many sweet treats. Adding just a small amount of Wagyu tallow can enhance the rich flavor of vanilla ice-cream. So, why not treat yourself to a three-course Wagyu dinner tonight? Itadakimasu!

Ingredients

Method

  • 100ml Vanilla Ice-cream

  • 2 tsp Wagyu Fat

  1. Transfer the fat to a glass microwave-safe bowl.

  2. If desired, wrap some cling film over the bowl.

  3. Microwave the fat on low for 30 seconds.

  4. Take the bowl out of the microwave and stir the fat.

  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the fat is completely melted.

  6. Let the melted fat cool down for 1 minute.

  7. Add the melted fat to the ice-cream.

  8. Mix the melted fat and ice-cream rapidly to prevent the fat from setting.

 

For adventurous toppings, try Sake, black pepper, black sesame, or chili.
