The bone is removed to make preparation. Simply rub the steak all over with a good pinch of sea salt and black pepper. Add the steak to a hot pan, then cook for 2 minutes. Turn the steak over and continue to cook 2 minutes for medium-rare, or to your liking.
WAGYU refers to all Japanese beef cattle, 'Wa' means Japan and 'Gyu' means Cattle. You can't even compare with normal beef and even non-Japanese Wagyu beef.
All our Wagyu products are from 100% authentic Japanese Black cattle (Kuro-ge Wagyu) which are raised in the tropical Island, Kyushu of Japan. Japanese Black makes up 90% of all fattened cattle in Japan.
Our wagyu is incredibly tender with an smooth velvety texture, rich flavour. It's intensely marbled with softer fat, has higher percentages of monounsaturated fats, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and is lower in cholesterol than commodity beef. It will almost melt in your mouth as you put the piece in your mouth.
