Golden Ginger Wagyu

We must spent enough time in the kitchen over the weekend. It’s understandable that the last thing you want to do is cooking dinner, ah not again! Luckily, this Monday night dinner idea can save your time and satisfy you and your family. Try our Golden Ginger Wagyu recipe. Refreshing scent of ginger and rich Wagyu taste can put a smile on your face. Itadakimasu.

SERVES: 2 COOKS IN: 30 MINUTES DIFFICULTY: EASY

Ingredients

  • 200g Kobe or Wagyu Beef (thinly sliced)

  • 1/2 Large Onion (sliced)

  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Sake or White Wine or Vodka

  • 1 tbsp Mirin

  • 1 tbsp Ginger Paste

  • 1 tsp Sugar

  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil

  • 1 tbsp White Sesame

Method

  1. Heat a pan over a medium heat. Add the beef and cook until golden browned.

  2. Add the onion and cook until softened.

  3. Add the soy sauce, sake, mirin, ginger paste and sugar and mix well until thickened.

  4. Sprinkle with white sesame.

 

This recipe goes well with steamed rice. Serve with thin-sliced cabbage aside!
